But that’s not all – we’ve ensured the installation is tidy, hides the subwoofer discreetly, and leaves your car’s warranty completely intact.
When your vehicle is brand new, safeguarding your warranty and preventing any installation-related issues is paramount. Our setup achieves this with ease, featuring direct-fit component speakers from Alpine, purpose-built for T6.1 Transporters and Multivans. These speakers effortlessly match the existing holes and speaker terminal locations in your doors and come with elegant tweeter beauty panels for the A pillars. The result? A fantastic, factory-like appearance.
While Alpine offers a hidden subwoofer (ALPINE SWC-D84T6 – 8″ 100W RMS 2×2Ω Subwoofer for VW T6, T6.1), we discovered a superior alternative: the HELIX K 8E.2 – 8″ 300W RMS 2×2Ω Vented Subwoofer Box. Compact enough to tuck neatly under your seat, it delivers a significantly enhanced bass experience. To complete the subwoofer upgrade, we’ve included a convenient remote bass knob accessible to the driver.
The Match UP 8DSP boasts enough channels to power the entire sound stage, driving all six speakers and the subwoofer with precision. If you prefer a more compact solution, we offer a smaller version of the MATCH DSP Amp or a standalone 1-channel mono amplifier for the subwoofer. We’ve executed numerous upgrades of this kind, and they’ve consistently received great reviews.
Our installation is non-invasive – no wire splicing or cable cutting here. We utilize a vehicle-specific harness that seamlessly plugs into the factory head unit, providing access to all channels for amplification and direct sound tuning. Should the need ever arise, our system is fully reversible to factory settings with no detrimental effects on your vehicle. Rest assured, we use only German components, meticulously designed to complement these vans, ensuring the most harmonious solution.
